BURLINGTON, VT – Fletcher Allen Health Care today named Sandra Dalton, R.N., M.S., Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer.  Dalton had held the post on an interim basis since January.

“During the past four months, Sandi has distinguished herself as a leader and colleague who engenders confidence and support,” said Fletcher Allen’s Chief Operating Officer Angie Marano.  “In particular, she has earned the respect of our nursing leaders who fully support her moving into this role on a permanent basis.”

Dalton has more than 20 years of management experience at teaching hospitals and health systems, including serving in both chief nursing and chief operating officer roles.  For the past several years, Sandi has worked as a principal for CSC, a healthcare consulting organization.

Dalton received an undergraduate degree in professional nursing at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a graduate degree in nursing administration from the University of Colorado.
