Celebration Broadcast Raises $650,000 for Patients at Vermont Children's Hospital

BURLINGTON, VT – Vermont Children's Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care raised $650,767 during its annual Celebration Broadcast June 3rd and at other events during the past year.  The funds will go to support treatment and prevention programs for children receiving care at Vermont Children's Hospital.

The amount includes money raised through pledges during the live June 3rd broadcast on WCAX-TV Channel 3.  It also includes money raised at other events in the area over the past year including Biking for Miracles, Bowling for Miracles, the Fletcher Allen Health Care Golf Tournament.

This past February, the “Big Change Roundup for Kids,” hosted by WOKO-FM, raised $96,600 for Vermont Children's Hospital.
