Fletcher Allen To Host Open House of Building Project

August 7th Event Includes Guided Tours of Site

BURLINGTON, VT - Fletcher Allen Health Care is approaching the final stages of its construction project, and the public is invited to take a guided tour of the Ambulatory Care Center site on Saturday, August 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The open house will provide an overview of the entire building project.  Attendees will learn about the outpatient care centers, emergency department, Community Health Resource Center, surgery center, inpatient psychiatry, the parking garage, and the education center that is a collaboration between Fletcher Allen and the University of Vermont.

The event is free and open to everyone, including children, who will be given a free souvenir hard hat, while supplies last.

Refreshments will be available, and the open house will continue, rain or shine. Due to the nature of the construction site, visitors are asked to refrain from wearing open-toed shoes.
