Members of the public can learn about Emergency Services at Fletcher Allen Health Care on a newly updated Web site. The site provides an overview of Fletcher Allen's new Emergency Department, which opened in the Ambulatory Care Center in July, 2005. It includes photos and important information for Emergency Department patients, families and members of the public. The site also contains information about a wide-range of emergency services at the organization - from "Fast Track," a service within the Emergency Department designed to treat minor illnesses and injuries, to FACT, Fletcher Allen's critical care transport service, to the new dedicated pediatric treatment rooms and child-friendly waiting area.
