Fletcher Allen Credit Rating Outlook Revised to Stable from Negative by Moody’s Investors Service

BURLINGTON VT - Fletcher Allen Health Care has received an upgrade in its credit rating outlook from Moody’s Investors Service.  The New York credit rating firm affirmed their Baa 1 underlying rating, but revised their outlook for the bond rating to stable from negative.

Moody’s announcement follows by one day a similar announcement from Fitch Ratings, another New York-based credit rating firm, in which they affirmed their underlying “BBB” rating and revised their rating outlook to positive from stable.

The ratings are a measure of creditworthiness used by investors to assess the risk of purchasing an organization’s bonds.
