On November 14, 2006, the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce awarded Fletcher Allen the "Business of the Year" Award at its 96th annual dinner.  Fletcher Allen was named the "Business of the Year" in the large business category for organizations with more than 100 employees.

The Chamber of Commerce awards recognize the community's most active members and its emerging talent and leadership. In addition to categories for small and large businesses of the year, awards are given for community excellence, to rising stars and for entrepreneurial spirit.
