Vermont Vital Signs to Address Pain Management

BURLINGTON, VT – Vermont Vital Signs, the television series jointly produced by Fletcher Allen Health Care and Vermont Public Television, will address the topic of pain management in its latest episode.  Set to air on VPT Wednesday, September 5, at 7:30pm, the show will feature a variety of health care professionals discussing the variety of methods and procedures used to ease patients’ discomfort.

The guests for this month’s show are:  Howard Schapiro, M.D., physician leader of Anesthesiology at Fletcher Allen, and chair of the department of Anesthesiology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine; Tiffini Lake, M.D., Fletcher Allen/UVM Anesthesiologist; and Carlos Pino, M.D., Fletcher Allen/UVM Anesthesiologist.

Vermont Vital Signs is a monthly series of programs designed to help educate the public about treatment, prevention, and wellness information on a variety of healthcare topics.
