End of Life Resources

Hospice

Hospice provides end-of-life care to people when the goal of treatment shifts from cure to comfort, usually in the last six months of life. Skilled management of symptoms, with a special focus on pain control, serves to increase and enhance the quality of life.  We offer a holistic approach to care that focuses on the patient and family as the unit of care.  We provide trained volunteers, support for families regarding medical decision making, as well as bereavement support.  The Hospice Team tailors their care to the unique physical, spiritual and emotional needs of each patient and family.
