Elder Community Council

Elder Care Services is a result of the work completed by the Fletcher Allen Health Care Elder Care Task Force in July, 2002.  The objectives of this task force were to define services, treatment models and the direction for care of elders at Fletcher Allen.

One of the recommendations of the task force was the formation of a community advisory board to assist Fletcher Allen in the care of elderly in the community. The purpose of the council is to help Elder Care Services to prioritize, strategize, and remain focused on issues of elder care within Fletcher Allen and the community.  The council meets quarterly.
