Elder Care Services Sponsored Programs:

 

GEM - Geriatric Evaluation and Management Team

This interdisciplinary team assesses older adults at admission to the hospital and assists in their treatment and discharge plan.

NICHE - Nurses Improving Care for Health System Elders

This nursing education program evaluates level of understanding around geriatric care and provides educational programs where indicated.  A Geriatric Resource Nurse certification is included in the program.
