The Volunteer Program is a coordinated and integrated effort to assist Fletcher Allen Health Care personnel. We provide supplemental services that contribute to total patient care in support of the Fletcher Allen Mission.

There are many ways to volunteer either in patient care areas or in support functions.

Why Volunteer?

  • Lend a helping hand with warmth and compassion.
  • Give the gift of self.
  • Fulfill educational and personal pursuits.
  • Investigate career possibilities.
  • Make new friends.

Volunteers Make a Difference!

"When I can make a patient smile, I realize my efforts mean something. I think patients and families make me happier than I make them."

"I enjoy it so much. I like meeting people and making new friends while doing something important."
