About Us:

Fletcher Allen's Hematology/Oncology Clinic is staffed by board-certified Medical Oncologists and Hematologists. Our caregivers also include a physician’s assistant, a patient navigator, a dietician, a social worker, clinical fellows, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, psychologists, clinical research coordinators, and support staff. Our team’s priority is to give each patient and his/her family the care and support they need.
This care at Fletcher Allen Health Care is enhanced by the services provided by the Cancer Patient Support Program and the Victoria Buffum Endowment Fund. Psychological and nutrition services, massage, yoga, several support groups and other services are available to patients and family members through CPSP and grants provided by the Buffum Fund.
The attending physicians and fellows also staff a 20-bed inpatient service and Oncology and Hematology Consult Service at Fletcher Allen Health Care.
All cancer care areas at Fletcher Allen are part of the Vermont Cancer Center (VCC) - one of only 39 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation. Here, the University of Vermont and Fletcher Allen integrates patient care with education and research to provide cancer patients and their families with the best care possible.
We are located in the Ambulatory Care Center on Fletcher Allen Health Care's Medical Center Campus in Burlington. The Hematology/Oncology Clinic is part of the Vermont Cancer Center clinics located in the Main Pavilion on Level 2.
