Requirements

All Employees

Special Employee Referral for RNs $1,000 to employees who refer RN for part-time hire $2,000 to employees who refer RN for full-time hire.

All employees effective 8/2/04-11/9/04.

Paid to current employee after new hire has completed 90 days orientation. Applicant must identify one employee who refers him/her as part of application process.  Referrals will be honored on past employees who have been gone more than one year. See intranet for application process.

All Employees

New York Ferry Discount

All employees Ongoing.

25% discount on round trip ferry pass.

Passes may be purchased from the Security Department.

Organization celebration when meet 25,50, 75,100 hiring goals.

All employees.

Need to meet 25, 50, 75, 100 hiring goals.

Employed Registered Nurses

$3,000 bonus for employed RNs who increase hours from 40-71 to 72-80

All current RNs who increase hours from 5/1/04 - 11/9/04

½ paid at 90 days, ½ paid at 1 year.  Requires 2-years commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire.  Should the employee leave prior to the commitment beyond, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorate portion of total incentive payment.

Graduate Registered Nurses

$5,000 payment toward the last semester of college for new graduate RNs who commit to 72 - 80 hours per pay period.

All graduate RNs hired 5/1/04-11/9/04.

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire.  Should the employee leave prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

Traveler Registered Nurses

$6,000 bonus for "traveling" RNs who commit to 72 - 80 hours per pay period.

All current RN travelers under contract from 5/1/04-11/9/04.

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at hire.  Should employee leave prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

Per Diem Registered Nurses

$3,000 bonus for "per diem" RNs who commit to 40 - 71 hours per pay period.

All per diem RNs

from 5/1/04-11/9/04.

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire.  If employee leaves prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

Former FAHC Registered Nurses

$3,000 bonus for former RNs who rejoin the organization within one year of termination date who commit to 40 - 71 hours per pay period.

RNs who've left since 8/2/03-8/2/04.

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire. If employee leaves prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

$6,000 bonus for former RNs who rejoin the organization within one year of termination date who commit to 72 - 80 hours per pay period.

RNs who've left since 8/2/03 -8/2/04

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a  position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire.  If employee leaves prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

Other Registered Nurses

$1,500 bonus for RNs who join the organization who commit to 40 - 71 hours per pay period $3,000 bonus for RNs who join the organization who commit to 72 - 80 hours per pay period.

New hires to the organization 8/2/04 - 11/9/04.

1/2 paid at 90 days

1/2 paid at 1 year

Requires 2-year commitment to FAHC in a position at the minimum hours committed to at the time of hire.  If employee leaves prior to the commitment being met, he/she will be required to pay Fletcher Allen a prorated portion of total incentive payment.

Celebration & Recognition

$250.00 contributed to nursing units/depts. celebration/professional development funds for each new hire to the unit/dept.

Every position that meets the 100 nurses/100 days criteria counts 8/2/04 to 11/9/04.

Managers and staff will collaboratively determine how to spend money.

 

Other Information

  • The above incentives apply to RN bargaining unit positions as well as FACT, Service Coordination and PREP Center RN positions.
  • All new hires must start orientation by December  6, 2004 to be eligible for the program
  • Required supplemental income taxes will be taken out of all referral and bonus payments
  • Graduate Nurses and Travelers are only eligible for the FT incentive
  • Travelers are not considered external applicants for the Employee Referral Bonus
