Employee Referral Program
Fletcher Allen Health Care established an Employee Referral Program to encourage employees to refer qualified external applicants to the organization. We will pay a lump sum cash award to an employee referring an external applicant who is hired and successfully completes his/her orientation period.
- $1000 net award for Leadership, Allied Health, Non Clinical Professional, and Nursing positions. Net award is prorated for part-time positions.
- $500 net award for Administrative, Patient Care Support, and Service and Trade positions. Net award is prorated for part-time positions.

What do you need to know in order to be eligible for the cash award?
- You must submit the Employee Referral Program form within one week after the applicant's Online Application is completed. NOTE: This form is available within Fletcher Allen only work is in progress to make it available at all locations.
- Current employees are not eligible to be referred.
- Travelers and temporary employees who have had assignments at Fletcher Allen within the past five years are not eligible to be referred.
- Previous employees may be referred if they have not been employed by Fletcher Allen within the past five years.
- Applicants who are already on file with Employment Services from the last six months are not eligible to be referred.
- Per diem positions are not eligible for referral.
- Referrals are not accepted after the applicant has been hired.
- If more than one employee submits the same person for referral, the earliest submitted would be eligible for the award.
- Both you and the person you referred must be on the Fletcher Allen payroll at the end of the evaluation period in order to receive the award.
- The referred employee must satisfactorily complete the 3 month orientation period and must be given a favorable orientation review by his/her supervisor before the final payout is made.
