Skull Base Neurosurgery

Trans-sphenoidal pituitary surgeryDr. Michael Horgan
Dr. Paul Penar

The Division of Neurosurgery offers fellowship-trained specialists in surgical treatment of skull-base diseases.  Our state-or-the-art facilities enable us to provide comprehensive and modern treatment for lesions of the skull base including tumor, infection, and cerebrovascular disease.  In conjunction with the Division of Otolaryngology, we offer microscopic and laparoscopic approaches which limit length of postoperative hospitalization.  Our surgeons are experienced with endoscopic pituitary surgery and vestibular schwannoma, among other skull base lesions.
