All members of the Division of Neurosurgery are very active in the assessment and treatment of patients with spinal disorders.  These diseases include degenerative spine diseases, congenital spinal disorders, spinal cord injuries, and spinal tumors.  Dr. Michael Horgan and Dr. Ryan Jewell both specialize in complex spinal surgery and surgical treatment. At Fletcher Allen Health Care, patients are assessed and treated in a multidisciplinary spinal clinic.

State of the art MRI imaging as well as specialized operative equipment and techniques are available for assessment and treatment of patients with spinal disorders.
