Each location offers sterile and extemporaneous compounding services, full retail prescription filling services, pharmacist medication counseling and a courteous and efficient customer service staff.

 Outpatient Pharmacy, University Health Center

The Outpatient Pharmacy at the University Health Center on South Prospect St in Burlington serves walk-in retail customers, FAHC and University of Vermont employees, patients of the Student Health Center (located one floor below the pharmacy), the Chittenden Center clinic and many other offices and clinics in the UHC complex. We offer speciality and sterile compounding services and carry a wide array of pharmaceuticals that may not be available in the community.

 Hours of Operation: M-F 8:30AM to 5:30PM     Sat 9AM to 1PM

Outpatient Pharmacy, Ambulatory Care Center

The Outpatient Pharmacy at the Ambulatory Care Center on Colchester Ave in Burlington serves walk-in retail customers, FAHC employees, and patients of the various offices and clinics inside the hospital on the main campus. We provide specialty compounding, sterile compounding, chemotherapy mixing and other services, including providing medication supplies to patients upon discharge from the hospital inpatient wards. We are conveniently located near the surgical recovery units and the emergency department, in the lobby of the ground (3rd) floor of the ACC.

 Hours of Operation: M-F 7:30AM to 6:30PM     Sat-Sun 9AM to 2PM

The Outpatient Pharmacy at the Fanny Allen Medical Office Building in Colchester services walk-in retail customers, FAHC employees and patients of the Walk-In Care center, among other clinics and surgical groups located at the Fanny Allen campus. We provide limited speciality and sterile IV compounding services at this location.

Home Infusion Pharmacy, University Health Center

 Coordinator: Debra Gibbs, RPh

The Home Infusion Pharmacy provides therapeutic home care services to patients who have been discharged from Fletcher Allen Health Care or other inpatient services and continue to need medicinal or nutritional supplementation in the home. Home Infusion services include IV medications and pump-administered enteral nutrition.

Investigational Pharmacy Services

Coordinator: Ellen McKnight, RPh 

The Investigational Pharmacy Service provides medication for various studies sponsored by government, Fletcher Allen Health Care or the University of Vermont. Services include tracking, storage and dispensing of study-related medication.
