The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has established quality measures that are presented through its National Quality Measures Clearinghouse™ (NQMC). The NQMC is the public repository for evidence-based quality measures and measure sets. More information about this national measures clearing house may be obtained at: http://www.qualitymeasures.ahrq.gov/ These quality measures address a variety of patient populations and are considered as indicators of good patient care processes.
