PARKING
All patients and visitors to the Medical Center Campus should park in our four-level underground parking garage which provides direct, covered access to the Ambulatory Care Center.
The Ambulatory Care Center serves as the “front door” to all inpatient and outpatient services on the Medical Center Campus.
Entrances to the building are available on each level of the underground parking garage. Staffed information desks are available at the entrances on Levels 2 and 3 to help guide patients to their destination.
PARKING RATES
Patients and visitors to the Medical Center Campus will be charged for parking on an hourly basis. Those rates are as follows:

DISCOUNTED PARKING
Discounted coupon books may be purchased at the parking garage exit booth. A book of 10 all-day coupons costs $35. A book of 10 three-hour coupons costs $20.
Patients and visitors with financial difficulties may contact Fletcher Allen’s Patient & Family Advocacy Office at (802) 847-3500 or Security Services at (802) 847-2812 about parking fees.
VALET PARKING
Valet parking is available at the main entrance Monday-Friday, for $8 per car. Cars may be dropped off for valet service between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Cars may be picked up until 9 p.m.
HANDICAPPED PARKING
Patients and visitors who display a valid state handicapped parking permit or license plate may park for free in the parking garage.
DROP-OFF AREA
Patients and visitors may be dropped off at the main entrance to the Ambulatory Care Center.
Curbside assistance will be provided for patients who need help getting into and out of their vehicles.

DIRECTIONS
From East Avenue: Turn onto Carrigan Drive. At the top of the hill, turn right at the traffic light onto Beaumont Avenue. Follow Beaumont Avenue to the underground parking garage.
From Main Street: Turn right onto Beaumont Avenue; continue through the traffic light and follow Beaumont Avenue to the underground parking garage.
From Colchester Avenue: Once on the campus, stay on Mary Fletcher Drive and follow the signs to the underground parking garage and main entrance.
Pedestrian Access from Colchester Avenue (including handicapped): Pedestrians who access the campus from Colchester Avenue may enter the facility through the Emergency Department. Follow signs from the Colchester Avenue entrance to the Emergency Department. Enter the Emergency Department main entrance and follow the carpeted hallway to the West Pavilion elevators. (See diagram of Level 1 below for reference).
Pedestrian Access from Main Street/East Avenue (including handicapped): Pedestrians who access the campus from Main Street or East Avenue may enter the facility at the Ambulatory Care Center main entrance. Follow the walkway that runs along Beaumont Drive to the main entrance of the Ambulatory Care Center.
