Genitourinary Radiology: We provide radiological diagnosis
and evaluation of the genital and urinary systems (kidneys, ureters, and
bladder). The Genitourinary Division is responsible for overseeing protocols
and interpretations of urography and participating in cross sectional
imaging, especially when it pertains to GU Radiology. More

Neuroradiology: Neuroradiology is the branch of radiology
that deals with the nervous system. We use many different methods of obtaining
images in diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system.
Imaging methods include Diagnostic Xray, Computed Tomography (CT scan),
Fluoroscopy, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.

Pediatric Radiology: The Pediatric Radiology Service
provides imaging for children of all ages including plain film radiography,
ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy and nuclear medicine. Pediatric film
review sessions occur daily between the pediatric radiologist and the
pediatricians caring for inpatients. While the pediatric radiologist is
involved in many of the studies performed on children, other subspecialists
within the Department of Radiology assist in the care of pediatric patients.

Radiation Oncology: The Radiation Oncology Division
at Fletcher Allen Health Care offers a full complement of radiation services
for cancer management. The Division has two dual energy Varian linear
accelerators, a Gamma-Med high dose rate remote brachytherapy unit, a
superficial energy unit, and fluoroscopic Odelft simulator. More

Thoracic Radiology: This division is responsible
for the performance and interpretation of conventional chest radiographs,
chest CT studies, thoracic MR examinations including cardiac MR, and image-guided
thoracic interventions including transthoracic needle biopsies and percutaneous
drainage of intrathoracic collections. More

Vascular and Interventional Radiology: The Division
of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Fletcher-Allen Health care
provides a full range of interventional services including venous access
and infusion port placement, arterial and venous diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures including PTA and stent placement, uterine artery embolization,
endovascular placement of aortic stent-grafts, and renal, biliary and
GI interventions. More

Breast Imaging: We offer state-of the art Full Field Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) at UHC, Fanny Allen Campus, and Aesculapius. A full range of screening and diagnostic breast imaging services is offered, to include image guided core needle biopsies. We are certified with the FDA and accredited with the American College of Radiology (ACR). More Information
Computed Tomography: Computerized Tomography (CT) services
are provided at the Medical Center Campus as well as the Fanny Allen Campus.CT
uses x-rays to produce cross-sectional images of the body. At FAHC, registered
radiologic technologists with additional certification in CT operate the
CT scanners. More Information
Diagnostic Radiology: We provide diagnostic radiology
services at the Medical Center, Fanny Allen, and UHC Campuses as well
as Aesculapius and Milton clinics. The Medical Center Campus has coverage
24 hrs, 7 days a week. More Information
Fanny Allen Radiology: Radiology services offered at
the Fanny Allen Campus include radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed
tomography and mammography. The radiology service operates seven days
a week from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 8:00
PM Saturday and Sunday. More Information
Nuclear Medicine: We perform state of the art diagnostic
Nuclear Medicine imaging at the Medical Center Campus and Nuclear Cardiology
at the Medical Center Campus and Dorset Street out-patient clinic. We
perform general nuclear medicine imaging such as bone scans and thyroid
scans, 3 dimensional SPECT imaging such as Gallium for lymphoma and cardiac
stress testing, and we perform therapeutic treatments such as radioactive
I-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism and Zevalin therapy for non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma. More Information
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): We offer state -of
-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging capabilities. The department is located
at the Medical Center campus in Burlington. Currently, one Philips high-field Open MRI, one Philips 3T MRI, and one General Electric
Signa LX 1.5 tesla systems are operational. More Information

Ultrasound: We offer state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging
at the Medical Center, UHC, and FAH campuses. We perform diagnostic ultrasounds
of abdominal and pelvic organs, routine and high risk obstetrical patients,
and vascular cases. Additionally, we perform neck, breast, soft tissue,
