  - cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder)
  - laparoscopic Nissen (a minimally invasive procedure that secures the top of the stomach around the bottom of the esophagus to prevent the reflux of stomach acid)
  - laparoscopic appendectomy (removal of the appendix)
