DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS -
Hernia, synovial cyst, lymphadenopathy

PERTINENT HISTORY
Presence or absence of previous aneurysms?
Presence or absence of arthrities or lymphatic diseases?
Intraabdominal complaints?
Previous surgery?

PHYSICAL FINDINGS -
Is the mass pulsatile?
What is its size?
Is it tender?
Can it be reduced?
Is it hard or soft?

INITIAL LABORATORY INVESTIGATIONS -
Ultrasound to confirm presence of femoral artery aneurysm
