Services

We offer our services in conjunction with the Women's Center for Pelvic Health, a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals managed through the Women's Health Care Service. The team is composed of providers from urogynecology, colorectal surgery, urology, neurology, pain management and outpatient rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide personal and comprehensive care to the woman presenting with one or more problems including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, frequency-urgency syndromes and chronic bladder pain.

Our nonsurgical treatment options include:

  • pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises
  • bladder retraining exercises
  • biofeedback
  • electrical stimulation therapy
  • pessary fitting

Approaches to surgical correction include:

  • vaginal and abdominal procedures
  • minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery
  • collagen implant
  • tension-free vaginal tape ("TVT") procedure

It is important to be aware that these problems are not a normal consequence of aging and should not be tolerated.
