Welcome
Our MissionThe mission of the Fletcher Allen Women's Health Care Service is to provide and advocate for caring, comprehensive and coordinated health care for women in a respectful, sharing and safe environment. The care is easily accessible and provided by a variety of health care professionals. The Women's Health Care Service offers this care in an educational and research setting that promotes the education of the community, staff and students, and is consistent with the mission of Fletcher Allen Health Care. Our VisionIt is envisioned that the Women's Health Care Service will provide state-of-the-art care that is integrated, responsive, accessible and value-driven. We will offer all aspects of health and wellness care to all women. Our care will be offered in environments dedicated to women's health (i.e., Birthing Center, the Women's In-Patient Care Unit and Ob/Gyn Outpatient Offices) by an integrated, multidisciplinary Women's Health Care Service team. There will be ongoing dialogue and communication among the care sites and the community support agencies to insure overall coordination of the plan of care.
