How to Apply
General
All applicants must participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) by submitting an application via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Required materials
1. Application, including CV, Personal Statement, and three (3) recent letters of recommendation
2. Dean’s Letter
3. Medical School Transcripts
4. Successful completion of Steps 1 and 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Exam

The Interview Day
7:00am – Arrive at the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care
7:15-7:45am – Introduction with Dr. Mark Levine, Program Director
7:45-9:00am – Morning Report
9:00-12:00pm – Interviews, Work Rounds, Teaching Attending Rounds
12:00-1:00pm – Lunch with current residents
1:00-1:15pm – Meeting with Dr. Burton Sobel, Emeritus Chair, Department of Medicine and Director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute
1:15-1:30pm - Meeting with Dr. Polly Parsons, Interim Chair, Department of Medicine
1:30-2:00pm – Tour with residents

Directions
From the South: Interstate 89 North to Exit 14 W (Route 2, Burlington). Continue west on Route 2 and follow signs to the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care entrance.
From the airport: Take a left out of the airport onto Airport Drive. At the first light, take a right onto Route 2 West, Williston Road. Continue west on Route 2 for approximately 2 miles and follow signs to the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care entrance.
